UK Chart: Bioshock Leads a Shaken Chart

Bioshock: The Collection shoots straight to the top of the chart. The Collection bundles remastered versions of Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock: Infinite on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 falls in launch sales over last year (-3%), but is up one place to second in release week.

NBA 2K17 matches last year’s rendition by launching to third.

Overwatch falls to third as a result of the commotion, but is ahead of Microsoft exclusive release ReCore.

Rocket League and Uncharted 4 remain in place at sixth and seventh respectively.

Falling behind to eighth, GTA V comes in ahead of No Man’s Sky and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Elsewhere, Dragon Quest VII: The Forgotten Past debuts at twelfth, NHL 17 at fifteenth, and Telltale Games’ Batman: The Telltale Series at nineteenth.

UK Chart: Overwatch Overcomes Opposition

Overwatch (+24%) rises again to the top of the chart after a performance increase, prompted by a price drop.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (-72%) drops to second in the second week of sales.

The newly released boxed expansion, World of Warcraft: Legion can’t beat previous outing Warlords of Draenor, but makes it to number three.

In the week of the Italian GP, F1 2016 (-29%) falls two places to fourth.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (+1%) makes a small improvement to fifth, in front of Grand Theft Auto V (+18%) which takes three places to ninth.

No Man’s Sky (-36%) plummets four places to land at seventh.

An upturn in sales can’t help LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (+1%) from a fall to eighth.

Shooting upwards from eleventh, Rocket League (+12%) reenters the top ten at ninth.

In only it’s second week, Madden NFL 17 (-54%) falls to the limit of the top ten from fifth.


The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition and God Eater 2: Rage Burst are the only other new entries this week, at seventeenth and twenty-first respectively.

UK Chart: Mankind Divided Makes Mark

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launches on PlayStation 4/Xbox One and PC. It falls short of predecessor Human Revolution, although in 2011 the install-base was almost double.

F1 2016 (-57%), at second, and No Man’s Sky (-48%), down to third, make room by falling one place each.

Overwatch sticks at fourth ahead of new entry Madden NFL 17 on both last and current generation consoles.

Uncharted 4 is up two places to sixth, pushing LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens further down to land at seventh.

On Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Assetto Corsa and A.O.T Wings of Freedom debut to eighth and tenth respectively. GTA V tumbles four places to land between the two at ninth.

Team 17 are back with the final new entry this week, Worms WMD makes a landing at thirty-ninth.

UK: F1 Flies To Podium Top

F1 2016 launches to the top of the chart despite a late release and muted performance, -32% over the launch of F1 2015.

No Man’s Sky (-81%) slips one place to second.

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (+13%) improves to swap places with Overwatch, ahead of Grand Theft Auto V after a drop from second.

Rocket League and FIFA 16 stick at sixth and seventh respectively.

Dropping three places, Uncharted 4 collects at eighth in front of DOOM and Minecraft: Xbox Edition.

UK Chart: No Man’s Sky Success

No Man’s Sky has a successful mid-week release to take it to the top of the chart as the second best selling launch ever on PlayStation 4.

GTA V (-22%) drops one place as a result, but stays ahead of Overwatch and LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens as they swap between third and fourth.

Uncharted 4 drops to fifth from second, above Rocket League, and taking the place of FIFA 16 which falls to seventh.

DOOM and COD: Black Ops III both slip one place each to eighth and ninth, ahead of Minecraft: Xbox Edition which sticks at tenth.

Mario & Sonic: Rio 2016 Olympic Games (+12%) climbs to fifteenth as its highest ever chart position for the start of the Olympic Games.

UK Chart: GTA V Grabs Ninth No1

Grand Theft Auto V (+31%) beats out Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (+19%) in a neck-and-neck finish to overthrow LEGO The Force Awakens (-21%) to third.

Overwatch (+13%) overtakes FIFA 16 to fourth, and Rocket League jumps DOOM to sixth.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III sticks at eighth ahead of a rising Ratchet & Clank and Minecraft: Xbox Edition, which drops to the edge of the top ten.

The anticipated No Man’s Sky, on PlayStation 4 and PC, releases mid-week in the coming round-up, and is sure to shake up the chart.

UK Chart: The Force Awakens Equals LEGO Record

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens (+1%) makes a small improvement in sales to remain top of the chart for a record-matching fifth consecutive week.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (+94%) almost doubles sales with promotions to rise to second.

Grand Theft Auto V (+37%) does well to take third from fourth.

FIFA 16 and Overwatch suffer as a result, landing at fourth and fifth.

DOOM is doomed to sixth, a drop from fifth, but is ahead of Rocket League and Black Ops III which swap places at seventh and eighth respectively.

Minecraft: Xbox Edition moves up once more from tenth into ninth.

The summer holiday provided many improvements this week, not least of which is Ratchet & Clank (+143%) which comes back into the top ten.

UK Chart: LEGO Star Wars Freezes At Fourth

Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens (-39%) holds the top spot for a fourth consecutive week with no new entries in the top forty to add competition.

FIFA 16 (-13%) takes five places from seventh to second in the weeks before the start of the Premier League season.

Overwatch (-30%) at third, GTA V in at fourth, and DOOM at fifth, all take one place each to new chart positions. Uncharted 4 drops to sixth to make room.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III  and Rocket League move up to seventh and eighth respectively.

In the second week of sale, Monster Hunter Generations (-66%) plummets to ninth.

Minecraft: Xbox Edition comes back into the top ten from sixteenth.

Alongside the Pokemon Go craze, other Pokemon titles have reappeared in the Top 40. Pokemon Omega Ruby sits at seventeenth, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire at twenty-fourth and Pokemon Y at twenty-ninth.

UK Chart: The Force Awakens Fends Off Adversaries

LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (-45%) spends a third week at top of the chart ahead of aggressive titles benefiting from promotion-driven sales.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (+152%) leaps four places to second with Monster Hunter Generations, new on 3DS, launching to third.

As a result, Overwatch falls down the chart to fourth, proving more popular than Grand Theft Auto V (+91%) which utilises promotions to reach fifth.

DOOM and FIFA 16 both fall three places each to sixth and seventh respectively.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III moves up to eighth, pushing the retail release of Rocket League further down to ninth.

Fallout 4 (+85%) re-enters the top ten from twentieth following a retailer push.

Elsewhere, hardware bundles see Zoo Tycoon re-enter at eleventh, and Kinect Sports Rivals, coming back at twelfth.

Star Wars VR Experience Coming To HTC Vive, For Free

Anyone for Star Wars VR?

HTC Vive owners will soon be able to roam around Tatooine thanks to a free virtual reality Star Wars experience making its way to Steam.

Announced at the Star Wars Celebration event currently taking place in London, the ‘Trials on Tatooine’ experience will be available to download starting on Monday, July 18th.

Described as a ‘cinematic VR experience’

The free-to-play Star Wars VR demo will see you take the role of a Padawan in training, on Luke Skywalker’s home planet of Tatooine.  Once the classic opening crawl has played out, this short VR demo lets you look around a 360 degree landscape of the planet — and also features the much-loved Millennium Falcon, and droid-favourite RD-D2 (who gives you a lighstaber).

Those at the Star Wars Celebration event can demo the Star Wars VR experience on both Saturday 16th, and Sunday 17th — everyone else will have to wait until Monday 18th to pick it up via Steam.

UK Chart: The Force Awakens Adds WiiU To Stay Top

LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens (-54%) remains first with the addition of the WiiU format, giving the title seven platforms of sales.

Overwatch (-2%) and DOOM (+7%) both take one place to second and third respectively, pushing FIFA 16 (-30%) down to fourth.

Rocket League (-7%) climbs to it’s best chart position in the third week of sales to complete the top five.

Uncharted 4 is pushed out of the top five to sixth.

Up one place to seventh, GTA V is ahead of Ratchet & Clank which renters the top ten at eighth.

The Division pushes up to ninth as COD: Black Ops III completes the top ten.

Carmageddon: Max Damage, from Newport developer Stainless Games, releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to twenty-second place in the chart.

UK Chart: The Force First

At the top spot, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases early this week to have the fourth largest LEGO release and the fourth largest Star Wars title launch.

FIFA (+17%) remains at second ahead of Overwatch (+9%), which rises to third, and Doom (-17%) which drops to fourth.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (-19%) drops two places to complete the top five.

A new release on the PlayStation 4, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness enters the chart at sixth.

Despite positive sales, Rocket League (+20%) drops to seventh from sixth, ahead of GTA V.

Telltales’s 7 Days to Die is the third new release in the top ten at ninth.

Tom Clancy’s: The Division (+72%) climbs back to tenth from twelfth thanks to promotions.

The last of new releases this week, The Technomancer lands at thirteenth and Minecraft: Wii U Edition drops at eighteenth.
