Thumbs up 24: Redemption

SPOILERS WILL BE IN THIS THREAD!
(I'm guessing)

So the two hour tv movie is here, airing in the US tonight, and in the UK tomoz (sky one) with the DVD hitting stores super soon (buy it now from play.com dammit). Who is pumped?

This fills the gaps between the shitfest of series 6 and the upcoming death defying series 7. Bauer!

This was good. I'd like them to do more of these.

Series 6 was hardly a shitfest. Loved this, the Carlyle/Trip Mine scene was easily the best moment of the show for me. Scottish actor + Kiefer = win! Bring on Season 7

And yeah, six wasn't particularly good in the middle but it kicked off and ended awesomely. I agree that the landmine scene was the best part and Jack's reaction afterwards was brilliantly done.

That kid was a noob though, I hope he doesn't show up as some kinda Shortround-esque sidekick in season 7.

Series 6 was poo, the redemption (ho ho) for that series came from Doyle getting owned in the face.

I enjoyed this, nice to have a story wrapped up nice and quickly, makes a welcome change to the pacing. Good stuff.

Still I am pretty sceptical about how they are going to explain Tony's return in S7, it better be good.

Land mine was in the movie, watch the Series 7 trailer. and Doyle was a pretty big secondary character in S6 dude.

I thought it was damn awesome. The land mine scene was done really well, I did think it would end up being a dud at the end of the scene. And in case you guys didn't know, the first 17 minutes of Day 7 are now on Youtube, presumably from the Redemption DVD.

I can't post links yet, but have a search for "24 day 7 17 minutes" and it should pop up in two parts.

nah, fuck Terri. it's all about Kim

Series 6 wasn't too bad, series 4 was the shitfest. Enjoyed the movie except for little 'willy' (teehee), that kid couldn't act for shit\

Also what accent was Carlyle all about, it was all over the place.
