So the NXE (New Xbox Experience) is launching next month on November 19, who's pumped?! Hello?

Well the hero that is Larry Hyrb (a.k.a. Major Nelson) is personally letting people into the NXE early and has posted some new deets on his blog, including info on the NXE Preview. However the application process is now over, with approved participants being notified on Wednesday via email.

Anyone manage to submit an application before it was quickly aborted? What NXE feature are you most looking forward to?

It all looks pretty good except for the stupid Avatar things. Which look wank. I want to keep my gamerpic dammit.

I signed up for the Microsoft Connect, but it was closed when I got in, to late.

Bizarre, seems to be working now though.

Looking forward to Wednesday for the round of emails though, I recon I've got a decent chance since my router is an Apple Time Capsule (I mean, how many Xbox users actually use one of those?) so they'll want as many different routers from as many different countries as possible.

There's also an interesting, shortened down podcast over at MajorNelson.com for those who managed to fill out the form in time, highly recommended listening about the preview programme (and some awesome chat between the Maj and e).

Larry just laid it down, if you email him asking when the emails are going out, and you are on the list he will remove you. :P
