Everybody's favourite little Sackboy is doing pretty well for him self, British developer Media Molecule's build your own platformers has sold 200,000 copies in the UK alone since it's release late last year. Apparently sales have been helped by a strong (and let's face it, funny) advertising campaign.
Other games to achieve good sales recently will come as no surprise, with Fallout 3, Far Cry 2 and Wrath Of The Lich King all receiving the gold sales award. While another British title Fable 2 has gone platinum, shifting somewhere in the region of 300,000 and 600,000 copies, although official figures have been released. It's not been a bad year for British developers, let's hope for more in 2009.
