Wii exclusive zombie blaster to arrive in 2009!

Sega announced today that they will be releasing a new entry in the House of the Dead series exclusively on Wii in 2009. Created by Battalion Wars developers Headstrong games (formerly Kuju London) the title takes place a few years before the original and stars Special Agent G (from the first title) and new character Detective Washington who is apparantly 'very bad-ass'.

The trailer looks pretty good - spoofing the grindhouse theatre style that Tarantino and Rodriguez recently paid homage to with their movies Death Proof and Planet Terror. It shows a few brief glimpses of Bayou City and the zombies that now roam the streets.

 

The game is expected to hit shelves early in '09 and Sega have proudly boasted this is the hard-core game Wii owners have been waiting for. Expect some Wii remote waggling shenanigans as you beat off hoards of ravenous, blood-spewing zombies if they get too close.
