Project Natal may not work in your entertainment space if figures Microsoft released detailing the space their gadget requires prove to be accurate. According to news website TechFlash, Natal requires a space covering up-to 4-metres deep and 2.7-metres high, and will need all of this space to work efficiently.
Kotaku covered possible problems Japan may have with making use of Natal, and a report by the BBC last August indicates that the UK has the smallest average floor space in Europe. The BBC report details that without any furniture blocking the way, the average room size is less than 4 x 4 metres.
For thousands of students, myself included, space is a real problem especially within University halls. I might just be able to accomodate Natal's roomy needs, but with debatable space to stretch, Microsoft may just have alienated a significant chunk of their potential customers through a design flaw.
Are you a student with small available living space, or is your bedroom the smallest in the house? Tell us your Natal fears either in the comments or over on our forum.
