Aliens Vs Predator Invades Home

PlayStation Home gets some ferocious new residents in today's update.

The virtual world of PlayStation Home may still be in an open beta form but it's continuously updated with new spaces, items to buy, mini games to play and things to see. This week sees the Threads store gaining the three key players from the recently released Aliens vs Predator game. The Alien can only be bought as a full costume at £3.29 while the Marine and Predator come as separate pieces in the form of a body and a helmet costing £1.59 and 79p respectively. These will only be available till 31st March so you'll have to act quick if you want to grab them.

Also in the Threads store are costumes from the world of Uncharted, Radec from Kilzone 2 as well as a number of camouflage outfits inspired by SOCOM: Fire Team Bravo.

If costumes aren't your thing then don't worry as Hustle Kings is bringing it's own brand of pool mayhem to pit your avatar against others in a friendly game of dodge ball. Naturally it's no ordinary dodge ball as it instead sees players shrunk down onto a pool table only to be pummeled by a barrage of spots and stripes.

The recently released RPG for the PlayStation 3, White Knight Chronicles, is still residing in the PlayStation Events Space and challenges players to take virtual pictures with four or more friends to be in with a chance to win a real White Knight statuette. Rounding off the additions for this week is the Heavy Rain Analysis Event which aims to bring out the Sherlock Holmes in you.

There's clearly much more to do in Home now than when it released but is it enough? Join in the discussion over on the forum.
