Bethesda has released a new teaser trailer for the follow-up to post apocalyptic role playing game Fallout 3, which you can take a look at right here.
Entitled
Fallout New Vegas, set in a nuclear ravaged Las Vegas and although not
a direct sequel to Fallout 3 it does take place in the same world,
continuing some stories established in Fallout and Fallout 2. Occurring
in 2280, three years after the events of the third instalment, it sees
the player take control of a courier, who is in the middle of a power
struggle between the government, evil enslaving group Caesar's Legion
and the population of New Vegas.
Judging from the trailer it
could be an exciting prospect, mixing the barren waste land of a
nuclear hit region with the jaunty upbeat 1960's imagery that made
Fallout 3 one of the must play RPGs of recent years. So, as long as it
doesn't fall into the old trap of the being the same as it's
predecessor, albeit with a different image on the box, we could be in
for a treat. It's scheduled for release in the 3rd quarter of this year.
Excited about the latest Fallout, or think Bethesda are milking it? Let us know, as always we'd love to hear your opinions on the forum or in the comments section.
