EA Trademark 'The Ripper'

It seems that publishing giants EA have given a clue as to what there next intellectual property may be, recently filing two trademarks, one of which was "The Ripper". The trademark also allows EA to use the name in a computer game or other entertainment services, should they wish.

It only takes a swift bit of research to realise that this links in with a project spoken of in the http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/technology/2009/07/eas-visceral-studio-losing-leaders-making-jack-the-ripper-game.html in July. It hinted at an action title based upon the Jack the Ripper myth developed by Visceral Games. No doubt we'll find out more soon.
