LostWinds was one of the launch titles on WiiWare and remains one of the best games available on the service. Fans have been clamouring for news of a sequel ever since but Frontier have been tight-lipped over details of if and when LostWinds 2 might be released. But now they've spilled the beans in the latest Edge and things are looking good!
Amongst the few details announced, it has been revealed that you can now control the seasons as well as the wind, giving the sequel a much wider range of possible puzzles. Check out more details after the jump!

- Cyclones can now be created to drill through rock and lift water
- Will be longer than the first game
- Storyline follows on from the first LostWinds. Toru's Mother has been kidnapped and you must help find her.
Everything is looking good so far. Development is close to completion so we should see this released pretty soon. More screenshots and a trailer can be found on Frontiers website.
