More British Games For British Gamers

A couple of weeks ago we reported some news, in which a report for politician Lord Stephen Carter suggested tax breaks for British developers, in a move to strengthen the British gaming industry. Now the request has taken the next step.

The UK's Department of Media, Culture and Sport have contacted the TIGA and the ELSPA. In the correspondence the department has requested evidence which supports whether a tax break is needed or not and how it would benefit the country. Here's some evidence for you - LittleBigPlanet, Fable 2, etc.

Speaking of Fable, the lead designer of Fable 2 got married the other day and was listed in the New York Times as being 'the lead designer of Fable 3'. Genuine mistake? maybe, maybe not.
