It's been one of the most anticipated PC games of the year and early reports suggest the appeal of The Sims is still as strong as ever. EA have reported that the combined sales of the Mac and PC versions have totalled 1.4m worldwide in its first week on sale. This eclipses the sales set by Sims 2 and is the best PC launch in EA's history.
