LittleBigPlanet Through The Internet?

In a recent interview at the Nordic Game Conference, Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans revealed some tasty future features for LittleBigPlanet. The strange thing is it's not costumes, level packs or even new creation features.

What is currently being tested is a new way for people to both publicize and queue levels from the lovely world of the internet. This will work by each user generated level being given a unique web address (URL) which allows anyone who clicks on it to put the level in their queue ready for playing from the PS3. Pretty handy stuff.

Also linked to this will be the inclusion of an application programming interface (API). This opens up the possibility for people to create their own LBP applications. One example given was the possibility of using Google Maps to detail the location of the levels on Craft Earth (the Earth in the game). Nice! As always we'll keep you updated.
