It seems Electronic Arts have been taking notes after last years stresses with the digital rights management included in Spore, which required gamers to authenitcate their game online every ten days, along with allowing only a limited number of installs.
Today EA revealed that the upcoming third iteration of life simulator 'The Sims' will have no DRM, and instead will only need registering with an old fashioned serial number.
Rod Humble, Executive producer on 'The Sims' said: "..to play the game there will not be any online authentication needed.." Rejoice!
