UK Chart: Call of Duty Becomes Black Friday Best Seller

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (+110%) is back to the top of the UK chart thanks to Black Friday promotions. It is the most successful title for sales during a Black Friday week, as numbers are boosted particularly on the older formats (+67%), bringing it up from third.

FIFA 15 (+84%) is at second from fourth, besting Grand Theft Auto V (-64%) by around 1,500 copies as the latter falls to third.

Far Cry 4 (-54%) is down to fourth, just ahead of Assassin’s Creed: Unity (+24%) which is up to fifth following hardware bundle promotions.

New entries at sixth and seventh, Pokémon Omega Ruby beats Pokémon Alpha Sapphire by around 2400 copies. Combined they have had the most successful Pokémon launch to date.

Driveclub (+999%) races up to eighth and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (+353%) to ninth thanks to promoted hardware bundles.

Minecraft: Xbox Edition (+184%) adds the Xbox One Edition to complete the top ten.

Other new releases include Super Smash Bros. (+560%) on the Wii U, taking it to thirteenth, and LittleBigPlanet 3 at eighteenth.
