Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V races back to the top of the chart with the release of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions. Before this week it was the highest grossing title in the UK, but new versions means it has now sold the most copies of any game in the UK.

Far Cry 4 launched on Tuesday to the most successful starting week of the series so far, marking second place.

Despite further loss of sales, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (-41%) is at third, but is ahead of FIFA 15 (+25%), which sticks at fourth.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is another new release at fifth. It closely follows the launch sales of the last instalment Dragon Age II in 2011.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity drops four places to sixth.

Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions give WWE 2K15 (+554%) a massive boost of sales which propels it’s chart position to seventh.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and Minecraft PlayStation Edition fall to eighth and ninth respectively.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection falls from third to tenth, ahead of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor (+204%), which is back up to tenth thanks to new Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions.
