UK Chart: Call of Duty Clings To Top
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (-77%) is top of the chart for a second week, despite taking a substantial hit in sales.
It comes within 16,000 units of new release Assassin’s Creed: Unity on the PlayStation 4 (52%), Xbox One (46%) and PC (2%), which outsells last year’s Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag.
New entry Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, a Black Flag sequel, arrives at sixth on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection, as the seventh biggest launch of any Xbox One title, arrives ahead of FIFA 15 (+2%) despite a small increase in sales from the latter.
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is another new release at fifth, in contrast last year’s LEGO Batman 2 achieved top spot at launch.
Releasing on PlayStation Vita, Minecraft: PlayStation Edition (+79%) has much improved sales, yet it drops one place to seventh. The title has its biggest launch on a PlayStation console with the Vita, and takes third best launch on the handheld behind Uncharted: Golden Abyss and FIFA Football.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 and World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor are new releases at eighth and ninth respectively.
Destiny (-11%) drops five places to complete the top ten.
