Crytek Nottingham Staff Reportedly Opting Not To Work

Published July 4, 2014 by |

A turbulent week for Crytek, in which reports have surfaced that employees are allegedly not receiving full pay, along with speculation that development on Homefront: The Revolution is facing financial difficulty. Fresh reports now suggest that some employees are opting not to attend work at the Nottingham-based studio.

New information sent to Kotaku, supposedly from Crytek UK workers, highlights that employees are not attending work, with numerous people said to have handed in their formal notice to leave the company.

Kotaku’s source also states that an estimated 100 people have walked out over wage issues — although it is yet to be established whether people have left permanently or are protesting the current situation.

Another more promising rumour from Crytek UK staff is that Deep Silver, Homefront’s publisher, may step in to buy the studio out right in-order to keep the studio operational.
