UK Chart: Titanfall Stands Tall

Titanfall takes top in its week of release on Xbox One and PC, with double the weekly sales of the next best title, FIFA 14, so far this year. It has also helped sales of the Xbox One console this week, with a new Titanfall bundle accounting for 70%, with totals improved by 96% over last week.

Dark Souls II comes into second, with 20% more debut sales than its predecessor.

South Park: The Stick of Truth (-47%) drops to third, ahead of The LEGO Movie Videogame (-31%) which sticks in at fourth.

Falling from second, Thief (-63%) lands to complete the top five.

Outside of the top five for the first time, FIFA 14 (-31%) finds sixth.

Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare (-41%) wilts to seventh from third, ahead of Call of Duty: Ghosts (-18%) at eighth and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (-9%) at ninth.

Battlefield 4 (-29%) completes the top ten.

The only other new release is Yoshi’s New Island on Nintendo 3DS at twelfth.
