UK Chart: Ghosts Remains Top With Early Xbox One Release

Activision prepares for the launch of the Xbox One releasing the Call of Duty: Ghosts for the new console one week early, resulting in the shooter staying top of the UK chart for a second consecutive week.

At second, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, from Cheshire-based developer Traveller’s Tales, has the second most successful launch of any LEGO title, after LEGO Indiana Jones: Original Adventures.

FIFA 14 (-7%) swaps with Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (-37%) to reach third with a less dramatic drop in sales.

Battlefield 4 (-48%) falls three places to complete the top five.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (+8%) takes a place to seventh, behind Grand Theft Auto V (-11%) which falls one place to sixth.

Also taking further sales with next generation releases, Skylanders Swap Force (+11%) pushes Batman: Arkham Origins further down the chart to ninth.

Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy (+33%) is helped up the table to tenth with hardware bundles from retailers.

Other new releases include Ratchet & Clank Nexus at twenty-first place and Xcom: Enemy Within at twenty-fifth.
