Saints Row IV

It is all change at the top of the UK chart, as three new entrants dominate the top three positions.

Saints Row IV grabs the fourth biggest launch of the year so far for successful publishers, Deep Silver, which also published Dead Island: Riptide and Metro: Last Light straight to top spot. The audience have chosen their format of choice, with 69% of sales going to the Xbox 360.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist joins at second from Ubisoft on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, WiiU and PC.

Disney Infinity launches into second, with more than triple the sales of accompanying figures than the pioneering Skylanders. Again, the Xbox 360 takes the bulk of the format choice with 43%, against 22% on PlayStation 3 and 21% on the first Wii.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition (+3%), Black Ops II (-17%), FIFA 13 (-14%) and Animal Crossing: New Leaf (-9%) fall two places each between fourth and seventh, as LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (+1%) holds out at eighth.

The Last of Us (-9%) drops three places to ninth ahead of new release The Bureau: Xcom Declassified at tenth.

Payday 2 (-76%) is out of sight at eighteenth. The only other new release this week is Platinum Games’ The Wonderful 101 for the WiiU coming in at twenty-second on the chart.
