GAME Set To Stock iPad, Nexus 7 & Other Tablets

In an effort to broaden its range beyond that of standard games and peripherals, UK retailer GAME will soon sell a range of tablet devices in its stores.

The retailer will stock a range of nine devices, including Apple’s iPad and iPad mini, across 150 stores. The company is already selling tablet devices online.

GAME tested the sale of tablets during the autumn of last year (2012), stocking Google’s Nexus 7 in a number of its stores. It’s safe to assume that sales went well, with the retailer now offering up choice of another eight devices to its customers.

GAME Executive Charlotte Knight said;

“Tablets are an increasingly popular gaming platform so it’s a natural step for us to be at the heart of providing these to the UK gaming community,”

In an effort to be competitive and seemingly not price themselves out of the market the vast amount of devices that GAME will stock fall under the £150 price point.

Stocking of tablet devices is seen as a positive move for the retailer, as it looks to further stabilise its future following a range of recent financial troubles.

A list of where to buy the devices at retail has been added to GAME’s website. A full list of the devices available can be found below:
