DmC, developed by Cambridge-based developer Ninja Theory, dethrones FIFA 13 at the top of the UK Chart.
Despite the Devil May Cry reboot only managing to gain a fraction of what Devil May Cry 4 sold in 2008, it pounces at a predictably quiet time of year managing to take the top spot. FIFA 13 (-40%) drops to second, whilst Call of Duty: Black Ops II (-26%) sticks in third and Far Cry 3 (-49%) falls two places to fourth. Need for Speed Most Wanted (-35%) and Just Dance 4 (-18%) also stick at fifth and sixth respectively.
Football Manager 2013 (-16%) performs well to rise above Hitman Absolution (-50%), which takes a heavy blow to fall four places to eighth. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (20%) musters the strength to remain ninth ahead of riser Assassin’s Creed III (-21%) at tenth.
