Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes becomes the most resilient game of the years so far, gaining a fifth week on top of the UK charts, despite a 10% drop in sales. London 2012 gains 5% sales in the week before the Olympics, remaining second, ahead of high flyer Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, which marks third from fifth after a 40% sales increase thanks to a price drop. The Amazing Spider-Man (-28%) drops one spot and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (-4%) gains one to complete the top five.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance enters the chart at sixth as the second largest 3DS launch of 2012. Batman: Arkham City (+37%) climbs four places this week, probably due to the cinema release of The Dark Knight Rises. Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (+13%) climbs two places as the Olympics draw near. Max Payne 3 (+23%) jumps to ninth, whilst The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (-15%) drops three places to land just within the top ten.
