Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (-30%) makes it three weeks at number one, despite the best efforts of London 2012, with a massive 81% increase in sales placing it second, up from fourth. Film tie-in The Amazing Spider-Man (-15%) and Spec Ops: The Line (-24%) both drop one place to third and fourth respectively. Dead Island Game Of The Year (GOTY) Edition takes fifth in its release week, ten months after the original release which led the game to be crowned the second biggest new IP of 2011 behind Rockstar’s L.A. Noire.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is up one place to sixth, as FIFA 12 falls two places to seventh following the final weekend of the EURO 2012 tournament. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is down three places from sixth to ninth whilst FIFA Street marches up the table from fourteenth to tenth.
