Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes swoops in as the new best-selling game in the UK this week from Cheshire-based studio Traveller’s Tales. FIFA 12, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Max Payne 3 all fall one place each from the top three last week, as Battlefield 3 manages to hold on to fifth place.

Lollipop Chainsaw drops two places from fourth, holding off against risers Mario & Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games, up to seventh from ninth, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, landing eleven places higher at eighth in the week before the first downloadable content pack – Dawnguard. Sniper Elite V2 falls one place to compensate for the changes, ahead of FIFA Street which lands in the top ten from twelfth.

Civilisation V: Gods and Kings is the only other new release this week at sixteenth.
