UK Chart: Future Soldier Remains First For Third Successive Week

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier makes it three successive weeks at the top of the UK Chart, being the third title to do so in 2012 after FIFA 12 and FIFA Street. As the UEFA EURO 2012 tournament kicks-0ff, Max Payne 3 (-36%) manages to hold on to its second place despite FIFA 12  seeing a 48% increase in sales over last week. Battlefield 3 (+42%) jumps four places to fourth ahead of Sniper Elite v2 (+18%) which rises one place to fifth.

The video game adaptation of Game of Thrones debuts at sixth as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 suffers a minor 5% drop in sales at seventh. Eighth places goes to  FIFA Street (+21%) as it edges ahead of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (+26%) at ninth. DIRT Showdown (-19%), dropping three places, rounds out the top ten.

Diablo III (+543%) re-enters the chart at twenty-second, while retailer promotions allow Wii Fit Plus (+279%) to climb into thirty-first position.
