UK Chart: New Releases Take Over, Ghost Recon Future Soldier Claims Victory

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier takes the top spot on release in the UK, marking the most successful launch in the series history. Max Payne 3 (-51%) drops to second ahead of other new releases, Dragon’s Dogma and DIRT Showdown, at third and fourth respectively, the latter from Warwickshire based Codemasters Racing.

Sniper Elite V2 and [Prototype 2] are both down two places to fifth and eighth respectively, sandwiching Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which sticks at seventh. Diablo 3 and FIFA Street fall seven places each from second and third, to complete the top ten.

Nintendo opens Mario Tennis Open for 3DS  to eleventh and Sony takes Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock on the PlayStation 3 to thirty-fourth, as two other successful releases enter the top forty.
