[Prototype 2] takes top spot on the UK Chart with a Tuesday launch that has proven crucial to its position. The sequel to Radical Entertainment’s [Prototype] can better The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings – Enhanced Edition (-73%), which falls from top spot down to sixth, and Kinect Star Wars (-22%), at fifth this week, but cannot meet the initial demand of the original title, way back in 2009. FIFA Street (-17%) and FIFA 12 (-5%) remain at second and third respectively, whilst Mass Effect 3 (-6%) takes one place at fourth.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 (-12%) and Battlefield 3 (-21%) both fall one place to seventh and eighth, giving EA five titles in the top eight as a publisher. Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (-5%) sticks at ninth, while Saints Row: The Third (+15%) completes the top ten.
