UK Chart: FIFA Street Remains On Top

FIFA Street maintains its position at the top of the charts despite a 44% fall in sales during its second week. Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City breaks EA’s hold over the top four as it enters the chart at second with a 3:2 sales ratio on Xbox 360 over PlayStation 3. Mass Effect 3 (-55%), like last week, falls one place to land at third. FIFA 12 (with a gain of 8%) stays put at fourth and SSX (-31%) slips two places to complete the top five.

Modern Warfare 3 (+12%) climbs four places to sixth. Kid Icarus: Uprising debuts at seventh as the franchise returns this week after more than 20 years.

Sales bring Battlefield 3 (+31%) and F1 2011 (+19%) to eighth and ninth respectively. Sega’s Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (-23%) completes the top ten.

There are two other new entries in the top forty this week – expansion Shogun 2: Total War – Fall of the Samurai at seventeenth and Ninja Gaiden 3 at nineteenth.
