UFC Undisputed 3 debuts at the top of the UK Top 40 this week, despite having the least successful launch of the franchise so far. UFC Undisputed 2010 came in at second during its launch week and yet pulled more sales, whilst UFC 2009: Undisputed gathered over three times the copies sold in launch week than the latest release.
Last week’s number one, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning drops out of the top ten completely, landing at twelfth place following a 63% drop in sales.
FIFA 12 (+21%) and Modern Warfare 3 (+29%) take second and third place respectively. Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (+94%) grabs fourth, up from tenth with a 94 percent sales increase aided by the new 3DS version. Battlefield 3 (+10%) climbs to fifth, while Final Fantasy XIII-2 (-42%) drops four places to sixth. Skylanders (+65%) jumps seven places to its highest ever position at seventh. The Darkness II (-43%) consolidates it’s position at eighth, while Skyrim (+1%) holds the ninth spot for the second consecutive week. Just Dance 3 (+9%) moves up two places to complete the top ten.
