UK gaming retailer GAME and its subsidiary Gamestation will not be stocking the recently released fighter, Tekken 3D: Prime Edition.
The game, which was released last Friday (February 17th), can not be found either in the retailers high street stores or on their websites. GAME confirmed to Eurogamer that the title will not be stocked in their inventory.
Eurogamer’s source detailed that the game is not available due to the distributor having not sent the stock to GAME’s warehouse in time for the February 17th launch. However, the Namco fighter is currently available at other outlets including Amazon, HMV and Play.com.
Tekken’s no-show at both GAME and Gamestation has been put down to the recent financial problems that the retailer has been facing.
Going forward, it’s a concern as to whether the financial issues at the GAME group will affect other game releases.
